GARNET ROCKRIDGE

Premium Garnet is a non-ferrous, 100% natural mineral abrasive. The average Mohs hardness is 7.5 – 8.0 making it ideal for both surface preparation and waterjet applications. Blasting with garnet results in a safe, cost-effective cleaning and surface preparation operation. Garnet has the cutting ability to reach bare metal, removing corrosion or coatings. It can achieve mil profile finishes for most coating applications.

ERVIN STEEL SHOT

Amasteel optimizes durability and cleaning power, providing a smooth and polished surface. Can be recycled many times.

ERVIN STEEL GRIT

Used on many surfaces to remove contamination or texture surface. Based on the size, shape & hardness this determines using for appearance or surface finish for coatings. A highly recyclable media.

MINERALS RESEARCH COPPER SLAG

Air-cooled and crushed iron silicate product. Cooling and crushing process creates a sub-angular, dark gray (dull, not glassy), hard, cubical, durable and aggressive abrasive.

Copper Slag is ideal for:

  • Blasting removal of paint and rust from ships, bridges, tanks, etc.
  • Subsea waterjet cutting​ (e.g., abandonment and decommissioning)
  • Light paint and rust removal in new construction surface preparation

CRUSHED GLASS

100% recycled glass, preferred for the environment and your health. It is QPL Mil-Spec & CARB approved, suitable for use around water, and Beryllium is not listed on our SDS.

Crushed Glass is ideal for:

  • Bridge restoration
  • Repair to remove carbon deposits, dirt, and graffiti from concrete structures.
  • Blast away rust and coatings from steel sections, it leaves a clean, white finish each time.

WALNUT SHELL

Walnut shells can remove matter from surfaces without scratching or pitting underlying material.

STARBLAST

MAXXSTRIP PF2

MaxxStrip (PF-2) is a water-soluble media and environmentally friendly. Specially formulated for pool projects and any other environment which requires a neutral pH solution.

MaxxStrip is ideal for:

  • Pool tile cleaning
  • Removing algae, mold and calcium
  • Containment is minimized
  • Safely clean dirty grout

POTTERS GLASSBEAD

Glass beads are commonly used for cleaning and polishing without great surface removal. Comes in a variety of sizes based on your application. The courser the material, the deeper and faster the media will penetrate. Contains no free silica and environmentally safe.

BROWN & WHITE ALUMINUM OXIDE

Brown Aluminum Oxide (BFA) is an extremely aggressive media more commonly used. Fast and effective and used in a variety of applications. This media is hard and tough with multiple recyclability. Low Friability.

White Aluminum Oxide is created the same as brown with the exception of white having high friability, but the same hardness.

Spent Abrasive Disposal is available and simple. One call and we do it all. We will set up the trucking either a flatbed or dump truck and haul it away. To start, a small sample of your abrasive will be sent to a lab for testing. You can use your own lab or we can handle that for you. Results will be sent to the plant for approval and a waste profile number will be issued. Only one test per job is required and the waste profile is good for up to 2 years.
